What is the price of defaming others without knowing them. My brothers, this writing a recorded history. What are you passing to the next generation and your children, when it is found out that Prof Isaac is a genuine Ethiopian who believes in tolerance. What defrentiates the writer from Elias Kifle who has destroyed many organizations and individuals. Remeber that you are only answerable to your inner conscience and or God when you write that cannot be proven. Tomorrow I will defend you if somebody attacks you. But I forgive you.
A MESSAGE: AS WE CELEBRATE

To renew our commitment
For peace in the continent
That should be our intent
To celebrate
That March eight
	It is with great desire
	We need
To affirm our stand
	Against war and injustice
Committed
In the African world
No matter
Where we are located
We need
To affirm our stand
Joining hand in hand
To alleviate
Our sisters’
Suffering
At present
In the African continent

 We must
“Give peace
a chance”
And say no
To men
Whose answer to govern
Is the barrel of a gun

Hi,
I am a little bit confused. I thought Debteraw's name is Tsegaye Gebremedhin Luccha instead of Tesegaye Gebremedhin Araya. May be I am wrong. But I remebered one historical event which I did not want to discribe it in detail. There was a time Debteraw said to leureate that either change your name otherwise i will change my name. Debteraw is the true son of Ethiopia, like a gold not change with time or power.

The ethiopian society, the country was kept together by gun, since the birth of todays ethiopia 100 years ago, only gun kept on together with no love.Melese is also trying the gun card but with more tactics as he will never succeed but may do much harm by people.it is a nightmare to be a nation of a country that abuse a citizen. This is if you have a money to doit.Mr.Haile good wish don't work, you are here to fight to kept the already dying nation together, this is thoughful and worthy of seriousness that begs equal attentions from our political leaders and opnion makers,The political atmosphere of Ethiopia is ireversible, unless we pickup arms talk the language this regime understands most,it is over, there will be united Ethiopia. In case u did not know,Ethiopia is in the stage where the former Yogoslavia was in 1995.Today the last region that is not independent is kosovo which on the UN table now. There are some of us Ethiopians who are still dancing with old tunes in beleive the old potery rules including Meles Zenawe,he is realy about half way through his agenda of desentegration of Ethiopia. This well i beleave show that we have,in fact, already been growing together for 2000 years.it is futile to address singular ethnic edentities in a nation state where in lies an unaccounted majority of peoples whose identities lie in more than one "tribe".Horrified that such a metecilous study and perfect presentation would make this serious ommision. The reality have accepted by everybody unless denaied the paper submeeted fact.we have work for tomorrow better life to fullfiled the demand need the next generation.

Thank you for you positive attitude towards Debteraw and other political prisoners of EPRP.I think your name says it all. You suggestion is well taken. You should participate in the campaign, if you are not already in it. The most missing link in our community is the Initiave. Everyone and everybody suggests for many ideas and issues but nobody seems to take the initiative. I think it is a cultural thing. Let us change it. Please, come with your design for the campaign. Thanks again.

As to BRHANU
You wrote " I have known Debteraw, he thought me in Bahr Dar High school. He was admired by students and other teachers. But I have never heard him persuaded us to demand for Gojjam self determination. Apparently he was seen as revolutionist, as radical young man, true Ethiopian."

What do the words "thought, revolutionist, self determination, radical, true, admired" mean to you? The English dictionary is precise and concise for every subject of feelings, thoughts and actions, and so on and so forth. You cannot just put words as they come to your head.

The things you are afraid about self determination was not or is not of Debteraw's making. How can Debteraw persuade you to separate when in fact he was teaching globally? All along, Debteraw was for unity and peace while others were for separation and war. The example I wrote was meant for me. Debteraw when he advocates for self determination, he used the example of Family. He advocated the unity of a family but if one of the parents have problems and could not be resolved peacefully and amicably, then they should divorce. Look what is happening now, what Debteraw was trying to prevent, it is happening, a lot of family disintegration is at work.

I do not know how old you are but you seem too young to know what has so far happened and will happen based on experience. I do not advise you to listen to what the Musie T or others who are desperate for water, strategy or cultural issues. They are not in line with Debteraw's theory of self determination. Debteraw's theory is based on true DEMOCRACIA. As at now, not many people got this concept as Debteraw did. That is why you seem scared not to discuss on the website. I think by now we all seem to agree that the website dedicated to Debteraw Tsegeye G. Medhin is a true model for DEMOCRACIA. Secrecy is the enemy of freedom used to say Debteraw but he also used to warn "Te'Te'Rater Yabate New Meterater" to those who want to take their time to digest the concepts, the theory and application of Debteraw's ways and methods. If you have more concerns, let us discuss it. We should not sweep it under the rug. Thanks for your attention.

First to Ewinetu Yineger,
The mere mention of the name EPRP is like a poison pill to swallow, let alone the Leadership quilty for people like you who defected/runaway in the middle of the night to hided at the bossome of apologists and outright Bandasa.
EPRP IS NOT SIMPLY FOR THE SURVIVERS OF THAT TOTAL ON SLAUGHT AND MAYHEM BUT AN IDEAL-PATRIOTISM,DEMOCRATIC VISION AND UNITY, CORRECTLY ARTICULATED BY THE COMMENTS OF DEAR BROTHER OBANG UJILU.
As to the other nay sayers, it is the case of the glass half full or half empty syndrome. In other words, it means those incorriigible optimists(EPRPities) and cynical pessimists(Anjas, bandass) world view. The clay footed or faint hearted, later day joe-come-lately politicians and crocodile tear jerkers "SUCCESS" IS MEASURED in terms of POWER GRAB FOR ITS OWN SAKE. Their darlings like the military junta-Dergue or Woyane/TPLF IS SEEN THE ULTIMATE YARdSTICK. THE EXODUS TO join these evil forces did not deliver them or the country to paradise. Still EPRP bashing persists in the hope of their illusion to become reality by always moving the goal post to fit their defintion of "SUCCESS".

Sooner rather than later, the day of reckonig is getting closer and the genuine item will be distingusehed from the make believe/fake one.

Ethiopia will prevail!

Hard to grasp the contenet of this article. It seemed to tell us the leadership in EPRP has a high standard of efficiency ... My proplem is that if success is the only yardistic to evaluate peopl's ability, then where does EPRP's leadership stand? What kind of lesson could we learn from those people today? All what is written in the above article is a kind of frustration and illusion.

The minority regime in Ethiopia is not an example of a good governer. The regime in Ethiopia is a good example of how to dismental and disintigreate a county like Ethiopia. Those advocate and protect the regime are just playing with fire. Now ethiopia is one of the failed state and at critical junction of civil war. The minority regime in ethiopia creates ethinic and religion polorization in between the people of ethiopia in order to extedn their time of power. The game played by wyanne and his co-sponsers draged ethiopia in to civil war and instability. What is the good of this regime? There is nothing good from the current regime in ethiopia. In the last 17 years ethiopia economically, socially and politically draged back and nearly now to disintegrate in to pices. The current stiuation in somalia was developed at this level due to neglgence and bad government policy to words most somailia inhabitantis. The minority regime in Ethiopia plays the same game to end the unity and strenght of ethiopia in order to control and put the influcnce Tigrai in to the other parts of theiopia.
The article is fair and commendable assessment of a person of high caliber who throws some light on the truth that some of our compatriots miserably failed to acknowledge.
As an independant Ethiopian national, I was always intrigued by the level of denial and ignorance some of my compatriots exhibited to denegrate and corner anything EPRP. Since I became interested to learn the geopolitical development of our nation, a good numbers of political entities and their affiliates mushromed in an over night and disappeared with out trace even before their first birthday. Regratably, these tyro politicians did a lot harm than good to the Ethiopian struggle by employing a wicked strategy of divide and weaken the people on one hand and relentlessly intimidating and marginalizing popular parties such as EPRP to relegate into dysfunctional and demoralized one on the other.
Nevertheless, EPRP was cornered by many self-made egocentric tenderfoot politicians, it remains to be a major force for generation to come. As Mr. Yelfiwos Wondaya beautifully articulated, EPRP continue to be part of Ethiopian history and pride to reckon. Personaly, I wish I had been part of this generation and shared such extraordinary legacy.
EPRP taught us on what it takes to be persistent, patriotic, principled and resilient. It always astounded me to recall EPRP'S accurate prediction of the down side of May 2005 election with TPLF mafia group, by saying "Look before you leap". Sadly to say, there were tyro's who has got as mad as a hornet and ridiculed EPRP as a looser and jealous. Unashamedly, they continued to pour cold water on those strategic ideas EPRP to offer. The truth is, these novice politicians are not even fit to tie their shoes.
No matter which way they sliced it, EPRP's prediction was far more than truth. As a result of that self denial, we let our nation to descend out of the frying pan into the fire. My question is, if we don't go around and step on someone's toes, where we would have been by now? Spare me the details! But how can we spread our wings again? Down the same road? No! No way!
O God, give us a heart, simple and transparent - ready to receive and acknowledge.
Ethiopia will prevail!
